We’re looking for a hands-on Store Manager who can lead our retail operations, drive sales, and create an exceptional customer experience.
We are excited to find an individual who is eager to learn about the company and, in the future, will know how to manage and oversee all operations.
Position Overview
The Store Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the showroom and warehouse, including sales leadership, inventory management, and customer service excellence. This role combines business management, product expertise, and relationship building with contractors, designers, and retail clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations of the hardware store and showroom.
- Provide expert guidance to customers on product selection and installation needs.
- Supervise, train, and motivate team members to achieve sales goals.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and oversee ordering and receiving.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and vendors.
- Ensure store displays are organized, appealing, and up to date.
- Monitor financial performance, including sales targets, margins, and expenses.
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and attendance standards.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in retail management, preferably in hardware, building materials, or home improvement.
- Knowledge of door and cabinet hardware products (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage inventory, scheduling, and staff performance.
- Customer-first mindset with a focus on relationship building.
- Proficient in POS systems and basic computer software (Excel, email, etc.).

Hours/Schedule:
Can be FT or PT 10am to 4pm M-F.
